Designed to be a direct fit into the stock thermal bypass housing on your transmission, these bypass plugs will keep your transmission running cooler therefore extending transmission life and preventing costly repairs due to a failed thermostat. CNC machined in the U.S.A. from 6061 aluminum and fitted with Buna O-rings . These fit many GM vehicles equipped with the 10L80/90. If your vehicle has the pictured housing (GM Part #84518145) these will fit your application. Please verify before you buy!
Note:When installing the thermal bypass plug verify that the housing is clean and free from corrosion and pitting near the top. If excess pitting or corrosion is present a leak may occur which will require the housing be replaced as well. Apply a liberal amount of transmission fluid to the O-rings to aid in a better installation and prevent tearing or cutting of the O-rings.
